Operations Team
We have a team of ten operations administrators who complete a range of administrative duties, including answering the phones, booking patient appointments, allocating prescription requests, processing incoming and external documents, liaising with external 3rd parties regarding patient care, answering emails and typing patient referrals.
GP Registrars
We are an accredited training practice and so will often have a GP Registrar working in the practice. He or she is a qualified doctor, who is undergoing further training to gain experience in general practice.
The GP Registrar holds consultations with patients and may sometimes sit in on the surgeries of one of the other doctors.
Video recording is sometimes used as a training aid but is carried out under carefully controlled conditions and you would be asked for your permission before this was utilised. Any video content is confidential and used solely for the training and assessment of the GP Registrar.
Locums
From time to time we may have GP locums working within the surgery. They are qualified GPs who choose to work for a number of practices, rather than becoming a partner in any one practice. GP locums may be used to provide sufficient appointments at times when we are particularly busy or when one of our partners is absent from the surgery. You can be assured that we only employ locums in whom we have the utmost confidence.
